Glenda has been involved in the communication world for most of her life.
After leaving the theatre, she was a presenter on Radio Port Natal in Durban and the English Service in Johannesburg and Durban. (She read the news on Radio Port Natal for over 5 years).
After spending some years on The Daily News Durban Newspaper. She moved to Johannesburg TV and worked on programmes such as Police File, children’s programmes and the very first magazine programme produced by SABC 3 called Sunbeams and Cucumbers.
She left the SABC, and continued to train in voice, speech and presentation skills to a variety of companies around South Africa.
Glenda continues to train, and now also does voice over work. She records adverts for companies, company notices to place on their switchboards. She reads and records books for audio listening, and also reads for Tape Aids for the Blind.
married with 2 gorgeous children, and another 2 gorgeous children and a gorgeous grandson, and a beautiful cat baby boy.
All being said and the truth be told, the love of the spoken word will always be her passion.
